History of Town and County Garage, Inc.

Town & County Garage was started by Ted Schamma on his 22^nd birthday in 1972. Ted started Town & County Garage with the goal of giving customers good service and pricing with a mechanic they could trust. He continued that tradition up until May of 2018 when he turned over the day to day operations to Brad and Jennifer Olivio. Ted knew that he had found in Brad a mechanic that could continue his tradition of excellent service and fair pricing. While Ted has retired from the daily grind he continues to be a great resource of knowledge on what we call “classic cars” but for Ted were the daily drivers of his generation

Brad has been working on vehicles for over 30 years. He began working as a car washer at a dealership while working his way through Ranken Technical College. Once he graduated he worked as a mechanic in the dealership before moving on to a small family owned shop. Brad worked at this shop until 2016 when he joined Ted at Town & County Garage with the goal of taking over for Ted when he was ready to retire. That day has come and Brad is proudly carrying on the tradition of excellence that is Town & County Garage. Brad is an ASE Master Technician and has completed many hours of additional training so that he can continue to service today’s vehicles with all their computers and components, as well as today’s electrical vehicles. When it comes to diagnostics Brad is among the best!

Jennifer joined Town & County Garage in 2017. She works in the office handling phone calls , ordering parts, billing, social media, and community outreach. Jennifer works hard to ensure that each customer gets the very best service while Brad makes sure they get the very best repairs!

Town & County Garage has been in the same location since it opened in 1972. While there have been many changes in Wright City and the surrounding areas you will find that Town & County Garage hasn’t changed much. We have all the tools and technology to serve today’s vehicles but the shop itself has the look and feel of yesteryear. At Town & County Garage we combine old school values and service with today’s technology and convenience.
